Wharncliffe Bowie

A not-so-traditional Bowie, not often seen. But really beginning to be more popular every day. This is the Wharncliffe Bowie.

This bowie has an 14-3/4" 440c stainless steel fileworked blade and is 21" overall. 416 stainless steel is used as the medium for the lugged guard and sculpted butt. Fileworked 416 stainless handle spacers are bolstered with red vulcanized paper. Between the spacers is a gorgeous piece of red and green dyed and stabilized "Wildwood" maple burl.

Sasquatch Bowie

The very nice Kenny Rowe sheath shown in the picture above
was sent to us along with the stag stick and the request to
"make a knife to fit the sheath". The result is the Sasquatch Bowie.

This bowie has an 11 1/2" 440c stainless steel fileworked blade and is 17 1/2" overall. 304 stainless steel is used as a guard and butt, with the butt piece carved to fit the contour of the heavily textured sambar stag stick.

Mexican Sub-hilt Bowie

An unusual take on the traditional bowie with some modern additions. Still has the same properties that exist in all bowies. The 12" 440c stainless steel blade has the reverse curve blade for extra chopping power and an extra appeal.
304 stainless steel guards and rear bolsters help to balance this rather large knife. Big Horn Sheep handle scales add to its' appeal and to its' feel.
